What you'll do

Delhi's green lung is a sprawling, less explored, city forest area in New Delhi. It is spread over an area of 783 acres. It is one of the most thickly wooded areas of the city's green lungs and is home to several species of birds and wildlife. We shall be stopping by at the viewing tower that offers a 360 degrees view of the lush green expanse. Witness some spectacular aerial views of the green canopy

The forest is brimming with herbs and medicinal plants that are often used in our ancient Indian Ayurveda medicine. Learn interesting details about some of them as we navigate the trail.

We shall explore the ruins of the Lal Kot wall that dates back to 731 AD and enjoy the refreshing views of the famous Qutub Minar, Adham Khan's Tomb and the green canopy of the vast forest.

Thereafter we make our way to the adjoining Mehrauli village that was a part of the ancient walled city. Explore the lanes of the busy bazaar and taste some freshly cooked, delicious local fare that is a hallmark of Delhi's famous street food.

The walk combines nature, culture and heritage and gives you a unique perspective to the city of New Delhi
