With stunning views of Harrington Sound, beautiful outdoor spaces, water access, a covered porch with touch-control protection from the elements, Luff Along is the perfect vacation spot for two couples or a small family who love the water and would enjoy a property with Bermudian character. 
 

Situated right on Harrington Sound and within easy access to buses, restaurants, major tourist attractions, and the airport, Luffalong is an absolute gem!

This property is ONLY available for the month of JULY 2026 for a set price of $20,000 for the month. 

On the road level the front door to Luff Along opens into an entrance hall with steps to the downstairs rooms and to the upper level of the house. On this upper level you will find the following:

The small library with balcony overlooking the lower garden, patio and the Sound.

The master bedroom with dramatic views of the Sound and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.

The full galley kitchen with adjoining laundry room.

The main living room with adjoining dining area that open out onto the covered porch.

Off the dining room is the third small, full bathroom with shower that serves as the powder room.

The porch can be accessed from the road through the barbecue area without having to navigate any steps.

Downstairs on the lower level, is the second full bathroom, with tub and shower, the second bedroom with queen bed and the second living room. This room has a large TV and a comfortable queen-size sofa bed. Both these rooms open out onto the lower patio.

Both bedrooms, the second living room and the kitchen have air conditioning. The main living room and dining room, library and entrance hall do not, but there is always a good breeze coming from the Harrington Sound. All rooms have ceiling fans and there are extra standing fans should they be needed.

Apart from the porch, there are several outdoor spaces for relaxing and entertaining. The patio has two loungers and two umbrellas and a small dining table that seats four. There arealso a small garden and a hammock. On this level there is also a slat house for growing orchids with an outside hot/cold shower. Steps from this level go down to the dock, where there is a kayak.

Off the porch on the western side of the house is the barbecue area and beyond that the Perch, a quiet sitting area with a fire pit.

The covered porch is a wonderful place to entertain family and friends. You are welcome to use our crystal, silver and china stored in the kitchen and there is a wide assortment of table linen stored in the laundry room. There are also everyday china, glasses and cutlery as well as non-breakable wine, champagne and water glasses.

Luff Along is well situated for travelling around Bermuda. There is a bus service every 30 minutes from the bottom of the road (a three-minute walk) with service to St George’s in the east or Hamilton town in the west. This one goes via John Smith’s Bay, a lovely beach. There is another bus route a ten-minute walk away with services to St George’s and Hamilton running every 10 minutes. On the Hamilton route, Shelly Bay Beach, a perfect beach for young children, is a ten-minute ride.

Access to the Railway Trail, one of our National Parks, is a ten-minute walk away. This coastal path is a great place to run, cycle, walk or just amble and enjoy the north shore ocean views.

The house has good access to restaurants with several within easy walking-distance,  The Swizzle Inn, Café Ole at Crystal Caves (one of Bermuda’s best attractions), the Grotto Bay Hotel and Tom Moore’s Tavern. Tom Moore’s is expensive but serves some of the best food on the island. Because the road is narrow and there are no sidewalks, it’s probably better to ride or taxi to this one.

There is a supermarket a seven-minute drive from the house. Luff Along is also a seven-minute drive from the airport – but not on any flight paths!
