Bellevue is a guesthouse with a rich history dating back to the mid 1800's. Situated in the beautiful town of Kelso it is a great place to base yourself to explore the Scottish Borders, either by car, foot, bicycle or horse. It is an hour to the outskirts of Edinburgh where you can park for free and catch a bus into the city centre. If fishing is your passion, Kelso sits on the confluence of the Tweed and the Teviot, the former known as one of the foremost salmon rivers in the UK. Cycling can be enjoyed on the myriad of quiet country roads and walking in the Cheviots rivals the Lake District but without the crowds. Fancy exploring country houses, castles or a day at the races?

For our golfers...There are 21 courses in the Borders which can be played through the Visit Scotland “Freedom of the Fairways” package, including Kelso, The Hirsel, Roxburghe, Duns, Minto and Cardrona near Peebles.
